Network :The Sri Petaling Line (SPL) is the second LRT line to be introduced into the Klang Valley Integrated Transit Network and coloured maroon on the transit map. It is currently being operated by RapidRail Sdn Bhd under the brand of RapidKL.
Sri Petaling Line is an elevated LRT line with several at-grade sections. It was initially a branch line of Ampang Line and later split into its own line in 2005 after being taken over by RapidKL. The line is currently 37.1km long with 29 stations from Sentul Timur to Putra Heights.
In operation since 1998, the line connects the city centre to the national sport stadium during the commonwealth games in 1998 and later being extended to the residential area at the southern end of Klang Valley.
