Our Activities
Interactions among MTREC members is not just on the social media.
We do :
- Offer various events for train enthusiast such as sightseeing, photo shooting and educational visits
- Research and data gathering
- To promote hobby among members of the public
Our Objectives
- To share and develop knowledge of railways related topics
- To promote the hobby of being a rail-fan
- To contribute towards the society the importance of travelling by rail
Our Logo
- The parallelogram shape is used to symbolise a moving trail of a train as it reflects a moving forward community among train enthusiast
- The Jalur Gemilang stripe reflects the identity of the railway in Malaysia as well as connecting train enthusiast from all over the country together
Members
To date, MTREC has gathered almost 200 railway enthusiasts with the mixture of students and professionals from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and France.
