The Air-Conditioned eXecutive Coach (AXC) is a newly introduced coach by KTM Charter Train designed to offer a higher level of comfort above the traditional First Class.
The interior features a 1+1 seating layout with wide, cocoon-style seats that provide a luxury and private travel experience, with all seats capable of reclining into a lie-flat position.
In addition, the AXC also includes dedicated onboard facilities such as a private toilet, a surau, and luggage storage areas, redefining seamless long-distance journey from start to end.
AXC is a refurbished coach converted from the former ASC coach by Padu Sedia in 2025. The upgrade focused on renewing the interior, including the replacement of wall panels, flooring, and toilet fittings to provide a modern and comfortable environment.
While the interior has been redesigned, the exterior structure remains largely unchanged from the ASC, with the addition of a maroon and orange livery applied over the stainless steel body to reflect its updated identity.
AXC is currently owned by KTM Charter Train and will be used on chartered trains only.
The AXC carries a unique livery featuring a combination of vibrant orange and gradient magenta tones.
A sweeping wave design divides the coach body with a large gradient magenta section rising from the lower side and curving upward, while at both ends of the coach is finished in orange.
Within the magenta section, thin horizontal lines are applied to create a sense of movement along the coach.
The KTM logo is displayed on the orange section, with a “KTM INTERCITY” label positioned above the window.

The interior of the AXC comes with a fully carpeted floor with subtle patterned texture in neutral tones and illuminated by under seat ambient lights. There are a total of 14 individual capsule seats in this coach.
The wall panels are finished in a light colour with smooth surfaces, complemented by wood-toned accents around the doors and seat frames that add warmth to the overall space.
The ceiling features a simple, continuous panel design with recessed lighting that runs along both sides creating an even and soft illumination throughout the cabin.
